The 14th Annual Rookie USA Fashion Show presented by Haddad Brands took place in Los Angeles as part of Los Angeles Fashion Week. The exclusive event was a sought-after celebration of childrenswear with many celebrities and supporters in attendance. Some of the world’s most fashionable celebrity kids and influencers walked the runway in the latest looks and must-have gear including apparel, accessories, and footwear from top international brands including Levi’s®, Converse, Jordan, Hurley, and Nike.
The show benefitted the Chris Paul Family Foundation. The foundation is dedicated to making a positive impact by focusing on education, health & wellness and leadership initiatives that strengthen the development of strong communities. Through Chris’ philanthropic and civic advocacy, he serves on President Joe Biden’s Advisory Board for Historically Black Colleges and Universities, as well as Co-Chair for Michele Obama voting platform, When We All Vote. The foundations philanthropic efforts have earned Chris the 2016 ESPYs “Humanitarian of the Year” award, the 2016 Mannie Jackson Human Spirit Award, and the NBA Community Assist Award five times. Chris is also the first recipient of the Kobe and Gigi Bryant Advocacy Award for his significant contributions to the advancement of girls’ and women’s basketball and advocacy for the WNBA. Chris Paul’s mother, Robin Paul, spoke on behalf of the foundation and was introduced by entrepreneur Lala Anthony at the event.
Performances were presented by Sophie Fatu, girl group from A to Z, and dance group Young Stars. DJ Tuug provided the soundtrack to the catwalk. Celebrity attendees sitting front row included Nick Cannon and Bre Tiesi, Allison Holker, Yris Palmer, Cheyenne Floyd and Zach Davis, Carmit Bachar, AJ McLean, Linda Jasmine, Dascha Polanco, Daz Dillinger, and more.
